Wooo! I managed to get a huge total of one album review done. Which is completely sad on my behalf because I have point form notes for about 5 that are just screaming to be transfered to my computer. This blogs song is Jump Then Fall by Taylor Swift and I’ve linked a youtube video that has the song. I also went back to my first blog back and linked the music video for Cousins by Vampire Weekend because I’m sure a lot of people would rather have it linked for them instead of going to YouTube to look it up themselves. That I completely understand, I’m like that most of the time too.

I’m failing so badly at keeping this site running. I feel like I’m losing motivation yet again but I don’t want to close the site because if I do, I’ll find myself not having anything to do with my free time. So I’m going to try and not neglect it anymore. That being said, I can see me completely ignoring it for another week.

I got back to coding CSS pages and I have neopets petpage CSS that I might start to add as well as some content because I’m seriously lacking in content. Again, I’ll see how motivated I am to add them but I’m probably going to add a few styles in multiple different colour schemes. I also changed some of the rules to become affiliates, I figured asking to comment once and a while was clearly too much and never happened so that rule is gone, I’m just going to be a lot stricter on sites that apply.

3 challenges open

So, nothing terribly exciting to report. This is going to be a fairly short blog. The song for the blog is an amazing song by a Canadian band called Marianas Trench. It’s a great song, I’ve linked to it above. I may start linking occasional songs in by blogs but we’ll see.

I’m working on the album reviews, I’ve writen a few out in point view. I’m not saying which ones are almost done so you’ll have to wait and see. I’m hoping to add them very soon, when I’m done with a few they’ll go up.

I’ve started 3 different challenges! They are up now on the challenges page with a more flexible time frame beacuse I know I won’t get a whole lot within a couple of weeks. There is an icon challenge, and edit challenge and a lyric graphic challenge so feel free to check them out and enter them. ^^

Wow quite a lot has happened while I was taking my lovely break. I managed to find motivate to do something for the site so I made a new site layout. I love the colours this time, I wanted to change things up because I noticed I use black a lot. The light blue looks great. The picture is a picture I took in Disney World, I think it was in the Water Buffalo exibit in Animal Kingdom but I don’t remember 100%. Somewhere around there. But wordpress deleted all my entries! I was upgrading it because that thing telling me to upgrade was bugging me so badly I went ahead and upgraded and then everything disappeared. Thankfully I use .php for my files so I didn’t lose them.

And just like I promised, I want to shout out to one of my awesome friends, Margaret, who surprised me one day by using one of my smiley sets when I was talking to her on msn one day and it literally made my day. It definitely helped me realized why I keep this site going, not for the hits but because this is something I love to do and seeing that at least one person uses my stuff just makes you feel so good about yourself. So thanks Margaret, you rock! And thank you to the visitors who keep coming back, even if it’s just to look around. ^^

I’m definitely quite enjoying the Olympics. There have definitey been some upsets and some surprises but what can you expect, things happen. What makes me angry is the people who need to critize absolutely everything that goes on, they really need to get soemthing better to do with their times. So stuff happens, it’s beyond our own control, that doesn’t mean that any one person could do it better. I don’t believe that it’s a competition to see who can host them better, or entertain better, but it’s about the world coming together to celebrate their great athletes. I could rant all day about it but I don’t want to bore anyone and I’ve done my ranting about it already. Otherwise, the games are fun to watch. ^^

I saw the Percy Jackson movie the day it came out. Then 2 more times within the time it’s been out. It’s really good, you should go see it. If you’ve read the books, it’s harder to watch because they changed a decent amount of stuff but otherwise it’s amazing! I was really proud, Chris Columbus did a great job directing the movie.

I haven’t added anything new yet, but I’m going to be working on some album reviews and some other resources, but mainly album reviews and that tutorial I’ve been meaning to write still. :/ That’s about it for now.
